BRITNI ARNEAUD Britni is HHH's assistant stable manager and therapist, and with her steady, dependable, and sweet nature, she brings a youthful maturity to our team! A natural animal lover, Britni can be counted on to keep all of our animals happy, loved and well looked after, and to bring her sweet, patient and loving nature to our sessions and our kids! SHAWN JEROME Shawn is our stable manager who cares for and attends to the herd with such love and devotion, that they are always shiny, peaceful and content. For horses to be successful therapy horses, they must be treated in such a way that their rights and dignity are maintained at all times, so they are mentally and emotionally sound and balanced. Thanks to Shawn's patient and peaceful nature, our herd is always ready to do their very best for us! Shawn is also always willing to lend a hand in our sessions, and is an integral part of HHH's team! |
The Horses
STORM STREET
Most famous of our five ex- racehorses, 14 year old Storm Street was dubbed Trinidad and Tobago’s horse of the year in 2008. Originally of Canadian descent by his famous sire Street Cry, Storm still holds the title of 15th top money earner in T&T. Despite his illustrious career however, Storm is right at home at HHH, thoroughly enjoying his retirement, especially treats, baths and relaxing with his herd. |
ELEANOR FOR TWO
16 year old Eleanor, as her lovely name suggests, is a true lady. This sweet shy mare may take a while to get to know, but under her cool exterior is a gentle motherly soul just waiting to be loved. Eleanor enjoys cool baths, pampering and spending time relaxing with her favorite guy, Storm Street. |
XENA (FINAL EFFORT)
6 year old Xena, whose racing name was Final Effort, came to us at HHH after losing her foal in a very difficult delivery this year. Xena nearly died due to the amount of blood that she lost giving birth, but this strong lady refused to give up and chose instead to live! Strong, powerful and noble, Xena was a winner on the track, and we are so blessed to have her call HHH home! |
LUNA DIVINA
10 year old Luna Divina arrived at HHH in April of 2016. Big, gentle and patient, Luna is sure to take care of whoever is lucky enough to ride her! Also a past winner on the track, Luna is a powerful reminder of these horses' past lives as race horses. So happy is she with her new life as a therapy horse though, that she often falls asleep while being groomed or fussed over! Calm and steady, we are so lucky to have Luna as a part of our therapy team! |
RAINBOW
If you ever need a hug, Rainbow is your girl! A true gem of a pony, this painted princess is a hard worker and eager to please. The perfect therapy pony, 14 year old Rainbow loves her job and makes it clear how much she cares about each and every person she interacts with, HHH is truly blessed by the presence of this sweet and gentle mare. |
JOJO
20-something year old JoJo has been with us since 2013, and often steals the show at HHH. A little pony with a whole lot of attitude, this clown of a character makes sure we never see a dull moment. Whether he’s causing mischief or following us around like a puppy dog, this silly little guy always keeps us entertained and on our toes. JoJo had to spend most of this year recovering from emergency colic surgery, which he thankfully survived! Strong and sturdy, this little Welsh Mountain pony is a force to be reckoned with and is adored by everyone who comes to the stable. With his flowing white mane and sweeping forelock, he looks like a unicorn, and easily carries the kids into a world of magic and fairy tales! Now that his mother Princess is also here at HHH, JoJo could not be happier. JoJo is such a special little guy, and we are so happy that he is a part of our team! |
CLOUD 9
With her stunning and graceful beauty, magnificent 6 year old Cloud 9 looks like something out of Grecian mythology, At nearly 17 hands she is our tallest horse yet possesses the sweetest and gentlest of natures. Like her best friend Xena, Cloud came to us this year because she too lost her foal in a very difficult birth, and also nearly died from the birth. Miraculously, Cloud survived, and was donated to us by Mr. Nigel Bennet. Riding her does feel like riding on a cloud, and in her presence you can't help but smile at the feel of her peaceful and uplifting energy! Her impressive size and incredible beauty fill our hearts with wonder, and we are so grateful that this beauty calls HHH home! GINGER
16 year old miniature horse Ginger is the diva of the herd! Pint sized but with an attitude far bigger, she is always letting the other horses know that she is certainly not last in the herd pecking order! Tiny but mighty, little Ginger has a very intelligent and strong-willed mind of her own, but with the softest of hearts to match! Ginger loves nothing better than to be the center of attention, and loves the adoration that she receives from everyone who sees her. Cute as a button, Ginger makes us all smile with her brash and sassy attitude, and audacious antics! A true trouble maker, she is also the best of therapy ponies who loves her job and willingly gives her all. We love you Ginger! PRINCESS
A real darling, Princess the pony is yet another HHH rescue story. Taken in by HHH after spending 6 years in the zoo where she nearly died from a mysterious neurological disease, Princess has made a full recovery since coming to live with us at HHH. At nearly 30 years of age, Princess is happily retired and her only job is to pose for pictures! Having been reunited with her son JoJo, Princess is living out her golden years happily and peacefully. We are so happy that we were able to rescue Princess and give her the retirement and forever home that she deserves! |
